Detailed description

TRAINING SUBJECT MATTER
– Theoretical introduction to 1D modelling
– MIKE Hydro River modular structure (additional modules)
– Review of data required to build and run the model
– Working with model input data using the MIKE Hydro River graphical interface
– Model simulations
– Discussion and presentation of simulation results

DHI Poland invites you to:

1-day training in the form of a workshop, which will enable you to learn about the basic modeling possibilities in the MIKE Hydro River application (formerly MIKE 11). During the training with MIKE, participants will create a basic model of the river and then analyze and present the results of the simulation. MIKE 11/MIKE HYDRO River is one of the most frequently used 1D platforms for river modelling in the world and in Poland, which has actually become a standard for 1D modelling. MIKE HYDRO River is an efficient tool for the detailed design, management and maintenance of both simple and complex river and canal systems. MIKE HYDRO River provides support in areas such as flooding, forecasting and response, water quality, dam damage analysis, infrastructure functioning, water salinity, sediment transport in rivers, canals, swamps and other bodies of water. A wide range of additional modules allows to build a personalized river modelling tool.
